- Scripture is quoted from the translation you choose, in short excerpts.
- Confessions and catechisms are quoted with the chapter and section or the question number.

A WORD ABOUT AI AND PREACHING
A draft is not
a sermon.
Many Reformed pastors are wary of AI in preaching, and the concern deserves a plain answer. Hokmah generates content, including complete sermon drafts. It can misread a text or get a reference wrong, and it does not know your congregation.

Which homiletic structures can I use?
When you generate a sermon you can choose Sequential Expository, Deductive (Classical), Classical Three Points, Herculano, Problem-Solution, Narrative, Analytic-Synthetic, Paradox or Question-Answer.
Which Bible translations are supported?
For an exegetical study, a generated sermon or a special service outline you can choose the ESV, NIV, NASB, KJV, NKJV or CSB. The staged sermon developer and sermon series use the ESV.
Does it quote Reformers and Puritans?
No. Sermon material quotes Scripture and the Reformed confessions and catechisms, not individual authors. When you generate a sermon or develop one in stages, a notice lists the confessional quotations so you can check each one before preaching. When you refine your own draft, the quotations you wrote stay as they are.
